Brief Introduction:

The Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering (GIEOE) was established in August 2006. The Institute offers a master program. The master degree requires 24 credits of courses in addition to the thesis work. NTUST provides scholarship to qualified international students. The Electro-Optical engineering training of NTUST will be involved and cooperated with electronic, mechanical, polymer and electrical engineering, emphasizes on theories and experimental aspects.

The purpose of the GIEOE is to focus on the innovation, evolution and applications of the rapidly expanding field of photonics, opto-electronics, and information display technology to a broad range of scientific, medical and engineering disciplines. The GIEOE is composed by three major programs, which are image display and lighting program, optical communication program, and optoelectronic semiconductor and optoelectronic integrated circuits program.
